Risepoint partners with over 100 regional universities and colleges to make academic programs available online, focusing on high-ROI, workforce-focused degree programs for adult learners. This Strategy & Analytics Co-op role is critical in shaping the organization’s future through data-driven insights and strategic thinking, supporting meaningful business outcomes while accelerating professional growth.

The TL;DR
• Role: Co-op
• Type: Full-time
• Team: Marketing & Operations Strategy team, working closely with a Director, Manager, and Senior Analysts.
• Mission: To contribute to analyses that inform Risepoint’s strategic direction, structure analyses, develop hypotheses, and deliver actionable, value-added recommendations that drive business growth.
• Tech Stack: Databricks, SQL, Excel modeling

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Organization: Organize strategic initiatives for key functions, including product, marketing, strategy, revenue, and enrollment services.
• Data Analysis: Execute end-to-end data analytics projects by pulling and cleaning data, extracting key insights, and communicating hypotheses to senior stakeholders.
• Tool Development: Design and create analytical tools and strategic processes that enhance Risepoint’s ability to deliver insights both internally to senior leadership and externally to university partners.
• Strategic Advisement: Proactively identify Key Performance Indicators and inform university partners about strategic issues, performance, and operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior Directors and VPs to communicate data insights and facilitate data-informed decision-making across the organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled, active student in Fall 2026 for this co-op position.
• Experience: Strong proficiency or working experience in Databricks, SQL, Excel modeling, and data analysis; demonstrated ability to conceive and execute quantitative analysis and deliver data-driven insights.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; exceptional communication and presentation skills; meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects; collaborative problem-solving mindset.
• Bonus: Prior working experience using Databricks, SQL, Excel modeling, and data analysis to clean data, extract insights, and communicate takeaways to leadership; prior internship or co-op experience.
