The Tone:
This is a co-op position at Risepoint, an education technology company dedicated to expanding access to high-quality education for adult students. Risepoint partners with regional universities to enhance their online program offerings, focusing on workforce-relevant fields. This role is crucial for shaping the organization’s future by providing data-driven insights and strategic thinking, contributing to projects that influence key business decisions.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time
• Team: Reports to a Director or Manager within the Marketing & Operations Strategy team, working closely with Analysts.
• Mission: Conduct analyses that inform Risepoint’s strategic direction and deliver actionable recommendations that drive business growth.
• Tech Stack: Databricks, SQL, Excel modeling, data analysis
What You’ll Actually Do
• Structure strategic projects for key product, marketing, strategy, revenue, and enrollment services functions.
• Execute end-to-end data analytics projects, including pulling, cleaning, extracting insights, and communicating hypotheses.
• Design and create analytical tools, strategic initiatives, and processes to boost the delivery of insights internally and to university partners.
• Brainstorm and launch new projects to proactively detect Key Performance Indicators and inform university partners about strategic issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior Directors and VPs to communicate data insights and make data-informed decisions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled university student for Fall 2026.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to conceive and execute quantitative analysis and deliver data-driven insights, with strong proficiency or working experience in relevant tools.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail, collaborative problem-solving mindset.
• Bonus: Prior working experience using Databricks, SQL, Excel modeling, and data analysis to extract insights, prior internship/co-op experience, agile workstyle.
