• Mission: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies that strengthen supplier capability, reduce risk, and support business objectives.
• Tech Stack: ERP systems, MS Office, Advanced Excel, MS Project, Microsoft Dynamics (experience a plus)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Global Sourcing Strategies: Execute global sourcing strategies including supplier selection, qualification, rationalization, benchmarking, total cost of ownership (TCO), and risk mitigation.
• Manage Supplier Relationships: Lead relationships with suppliers, manage contracts, negotiate pricing agreements, assess performance, and oversee assigned category management activities.
• Drive Cost Reductions: Deliver significant cost reductions through market analysis, cost modeling, competitive sourcing events, make-versus-buy analysis, and global spend leverage.
• Build Market Intelligence: Develop comprehensive supplier and market intelligence to inform sourcing strategy, capability assessments, and future business planning.
• Optimize Supply Chain Performance: Analyze supplier performance to enhance supply chain efficiency and proactively mitigate risks to assurance of supply.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; seeking a Manager level professional with strong global strategic sourcing management expertise.
• Experience: 10+ years in global strategic sourcing management, with demonstrated achievement in sourcing solutions and strong global procurement methods across all key areas.
• Skills: Excellent relationship management and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, strong international negotiation skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and robust communication.
• Bonus: Preferred certifications include ISM C.P.M., CPSM, APICS CSCP/CPIM, or equivalent. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus, along with willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 20%).
