This role is crucial for supporting the company’s strategic growth by evaluating potential acquisition targets, partnership opportunities, and new market entry across the United States, providing foundational research and analysis that drives future expansion.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Research potential acquisition targets across the U.S.
• Analysis: Analyze competitors, market trends, and industry developments within relevant sectors.
• Evaluation: Evaluate companies based on their service offerings, geographic reach, and strategic fit for Ayming’s growth.
• Data Management: Build and maintain comprehensive acquisition prospect lists and detailed company profiles.
• Reporting: Prepare executive summaries, scorecards, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Tracking: Track M&A activity specifically within the tax consulting, engineering, and broader professional services sectors.
• Support: Support leadership with various strategic growth initiatives as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for individuals pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous internship, project, or coursework in finance, consulting, market research, or corporate strategy. Familiarity with financial analysis, valuation, or M&A concepts is also required, along with experience using research tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, or Crunchbase.
• Skills: Strong research and analytical abilities, advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: A strong interest in Mergers & Acquisitions, business strategy, and corporate growth. Candidates should also possess strategic and critical thinking abilities, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
