Strategic Communications Intern Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the communications director to develop communications materials for various audiences through online and offline channels.
• Gather and synthesize information to create compelling content.
• Support the program’s social media and digital content strategies.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree (preferably in Communications and/or Marketing).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools/programs, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Creativity and comfort using technology for communications including digital and video communication.
• Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs and next steps without prompting.

Preferred:

• Experience planning events and activities.
