Job Title: Store Associate (Focus on Floor Care)
Location: USA Marshalls Store 1513 Murray KY (662 North 12th Street)
Starting Pay Range: $12.00 to $12.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a primary focus on floor care. The successful candidate will also be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate floor care equipment including the scrubber and buffer.
- Perform various cleaning tasks such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
- Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (e.g., Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms).
- Adhere to all company policies concerning Health and Safety, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
- Be cross-trained in other areas of the store (e.g., Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor).
- Support and respond to all Front End coverage needs.
- Adhere to and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Adhere to all operational and loss prevention controls in accordance with company guidelines and policies, including shrink reduction.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
- Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Who We’re Looking For: You.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber.
- Capable of multi-tasking effectively.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Strong communication skills: verbal and written, with the ability to listen and respond appropriately.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- A strong team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Retail customer experience preferred.
