The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, Murray, KY
• Pay: $12–$12.5 hourly
• Mission: Ensure the Marshalls store maintains a high standard of cleanliness, particularly for its floors, and support general store operations to enhance the shopping and working environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Floor Maintenance: Operate specialized floor care equipment, including the scrubber and buffer, to meticulously clean and maintain all store flooring surfaces.
• General Cleaning & Upkeep: Execute a variety of cleaning tasks across the entire store, such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
• Store Standards Adherence: Uphold all operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards, ensuring the store’s overall organizational, cleanliness, and recovery benchmarks are met in all areas including the Sales Floor, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
• Customer & Associate Experience: Role model established customer experience practices with both internal and external customers, supporting a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and maintaining health and safety standards by refilling essential items.
• Cross-Functional Support & Flexibility: Be cross-trained to work in and support multiple areas of the store, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor, responding to coverage needs and changes in direction to support overall business demands.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A foundational understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean and organized environment, with the ability to learn and adhere to retail operational standards.
• Experience: Capability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks, including operating floor buffer and scrubber equipment, and the ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, effective communication (verbal and written), and the ability to multi-task and work effectively as a strong team player.
• Bonus: Previous retail customer experience is preferred.
