Stocking Associate – Full Time | Bass Pro Shops

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person position at Bass Pro Shops. This role is crucial for ensuring that merchandise is consistently available, well-organized, and accurately priced, directly supporting a world-class customer service experience and a pleasant shopping environment for all customers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service by ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Inventory Management: Organize and manage back stock daily, replenishing product on shelves and in back stock as required per Merchandising guidelines.
• Receiving Operations: Unload trucks as needed to receive incoming merchandise and prepare it for stocking.
• Product Knowledge: Remain a product expert through ongoing product knowledge training, and stay knowledgeable of advertised sales and plan-o-grams.
• Merchandising Support: Assist with pricing maintenance and signing, while keeping the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or equivalent experience, with core domain knowledge in merchandise stocking and customer service support.
• Experience: Proficiency in operating a computerized Point of Sale register system, and the ability to read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes.
• Skills: Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers, communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers, and customers.
