Job Description: Spectrum Internship Program 2026 (STEM)
This is a full-time, 10-week internship program designed for motivated rising senior students pursuing a STEM-related bachelor’s degree. The program aims to provide valuable real-world experience within the telecommunications industry.
Program Details:
• Duration: 10 weeks, full-time.
• Dates: May 27 through July 31, 2026.
• Structure: The internship is divided into two main components:
• 80% Department and Team-Focused Projects: Interns will contribute to meaningful projects within one of Spectrum’s departments, gaining insight into the company’s operations.
• 20% Professional Development & Networking: This includes a Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service initiatives, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.
• Experience: Interns will have opportunities to gain new skills, build connections with team members and senior leaders, and receive one-on-one mentorship to help achieve professional goals.
Internship Responsibilities (may include):
• Designing, developing, implementing, analyzing, and communicating operational information to various organizations.
• Creating, maintaining, and improving current and future elements/rules within the (Multi-access edge computing) MEC Product Catalog.
• Performing production support tasks, including troubleshooting system and data issues.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, completing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or greater in the current program.
• Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027 (indicating a rising senior status).
• Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
• Key Skills: Analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, project and time management skills, ability to collaborate effectively, self-motivation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
