What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide personalized, high-impact online instruction to individual students through scheduled or on-demand sessions.
• Explain complex graduate-level statistical concepts such as likelihood function derivations, posterior distribution calculations, and ANOVA decompositions.
• Guide students through advanced statistical tasks, including designing experiments, performing multivariate analysis, and implementing statistical models in software.
• Prepare masters and doctoral students for research methodology and advanced doctoral-level statistical analysis.
• Adapt teaching methods using R or Python statistical computing, research paper examples, and proof-based exercises to support diverse learning needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Advanced knowledge of graduate-level mathematical statistics, including maximum likelihood estimation, hypothesis testing theory, Bayesian inference, regression analysis, multivariate methods, and nonparametric statistics.
• Experience: Proven aptitude for breaking down complex concepts and guiding students through advanced problem-solving, with proficiency in preparing students for research methodology and doctoral-level statistical analysis.
• Skills:
• Deep knowledge of asymptotic theory, Neyman-Pearson lemma, and generalized linear models.
• Skilled at explaining theoretical foundations and connecting advanced statistics to applications in biostatistics, econometrics, and machine learning research.
• Familiarity with graduate statistics curricula and common challenges, coupled with the ability to adapt instruction using R or Python statistical computing.
• Strong communication skills, an engaging teaching style, and the ability to explain material using multiple approaches tailored to individual learning needs.
