What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver personalized, in-depth 1-on-1 online instruction to individual students, tailoring lessons to their specific learning goals and styles.
• Explain complex graduate-level statistical theories and concepts, including advanced derivations like likelihood functions and ANOVA decompositions.
• Guide students through designing experiments, performing multivariate analysis, constructing confidence regions, and implementing statistical models in software.
• Prepare students for advanced research methodology and doctoral-level statistical analysis, connecting theory to applications in diverse fields.
• Provide instant tutoring assistance by accepting on-demand requests whenever you are available for immediate support.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Advanced subject mastery in statistics, encompassing deep knowledge of core and advanced graduate-level concepts.
• Experience: Aptitude for guiding students through complex problem-solving scenarios, designing experiments, and implementing statistical models; familiarity with graduate statistics curricula and common student challenges.
• Skills:
• Deep knowledge of mathematical statistics, maximum likelihood estimation, sufficient statistics, hypothesis testing theory, and Bayesian inference.
• Proficiency in advanced topics such as regression analysis, multivariate methods, experimental design, and nonparametric statistics.
• Ability to explain complex theories including asymptotic theory, Neyman-Pearson lemma, and generalized linear models.
• Strong communication skills with an engaging teaching style, capable of adapting instruction using statistical computing tools like R or Python.
