What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruction: Provide personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring and accept on-demand instant tutoring requests.
• Teach: Explain advanced mathematical statistics, covering maximum likelihood estimation, Bayesian inference, regression analysis, and multivariate methods.
• Guide: Lead students through designing experiments, performing multivariate analysis, constructing confidence regions, and implementing statistical models in software.
• Adapt: Adjust instruction using R or Python statistical computing, research paper examples, and proof-based exercises for masters and doctoral students.
• Prepare: Ready students for research methodology and doctoral-level statistical analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Advanced subject mastery in statistics suitable for graduate-level instruction, including deep knowledge of mathematical statistics, hypothesis testing theory, and experimental design.
• Experience: Proven ability to explain complex concepts like likelihood function derivations, posterior distribution calculations, and ANOVA decompositions. Demonstrated proficiency in preparing students for research methodology and doctoral-level statistical analysis.
• Skills: Exceptional ability to break down complex statistical problems, adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles, and communicate advanced concepts clearly. Proficiency in utilizing statistical software such as R or Python.
