Starbucks Lead Barista | Peachtree Group

This is an on-site Lead Barista role at Peachtree Group, located in Orlando, FL. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth daily operations of a Starbucks location, upholding high standards for beverage preparation, and consistently delivering outstanding customer service to guests and supporting team members.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service Excellence: Drive exceptional guest experiences by modeling service commitments, actively engaging with guests, and providing expert product knowledge to connect them with their preferred items and promotions.
• Operational Execution: Oversee and execute daily store operations, including accurate cash handling, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace, and efficiently managing opening and closing duties.
• Product Quality: Ensure consistent preparation and delivery of high-quality beverages and food, strictly adhering to all recipe, presentation, health, and sanitation standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop team members by assisting with training, providing constructive coaching, fostering a positive learning environment, and recognizing individual and team accomplishments.
• Punctual Attendance: Maintain regular and punctual attendance, which is essential for ensuring consistent operational coverage and adherence to store policies and standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Core domain knowledge in customer service and hospitality/restaurant operations.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment; 6 months of experience in a role requiring constant interaction with and fulfillment of customer requests; and 6 months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
• Skills: Ability to direct the work of others, effective oral communication, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team, ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers, ability to learn quickly, ability to prepare and coach others in food/beverage preparation to standard recipes, knowledge of the restaurant and hospitality environment, and ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
