Staff Product Manager (Technical) | OneTrust

The Tone:
This is a full-time Staff Product Manager (Technical) role at OneTrust, operating with a hybrid office-first model. OneTrust develops the AI-Ready Governance Platform, unifying regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows to enable responsible data and AI use. This role is pivotal in partnering with the company’s most influential customers to modernize governance, reduce risk, and operationalize trust, directly shaping the future direction of OneTrust’s Risk, Privacy, & Governance product portfolio.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Define Vision: Establish the long-term product vision, capability strategy, and roadmap priorities across Privacy Operations, Third-Party Risk Management, Technology Risk, Assessments, Compliance Automation, Data Governance, Policy Governance, and Integrated Risk Management, translating regulatory changes and customer requirements into scalable product investments.
• Advocate for Customer: Serve as the primary Risk, Privacy, & Governance advocate for strategic Design Partner customers, leading discovery workshops to understand governance maturity, operational workflows, and regulatory obligations, then converting this feedback into actionable product recommendations and roadmap priorities.
• Drive Innovation: Guide the evolution of core capabilities across privacy operations, risk assessments, third-party risk management, compliance workflows, and policy governance, ensuring products help organizations reduce risk while improving efficiency and accountability.
• Influence Execution: Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and Design teams to prioritize investments and accelerate product delivery, validating direction through strategic customer engagements and early-access initiatives.
• Lead Community & Impact: Act as a trusted advisor to both customers and internal stakeholders on best practices for privacy, governance, and risk management, while also owning business outcomes tied to adoption, regulatory readiness, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior, execution-oriented product leader with a strategic mindset, experienced in enterprise SaaS environments, specializing in risk, privacy, and governance domains.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, solutions consulting, or technical product leadership, with a demonstrated ability to work directly with enterprise customers to define requirements and drive product adoption. This includes proven experience partnering with diverse organizations like Engineering, Product Management, UX, Legal, Privacy, Security, Compliance, and Go-To-Market teams.
• Skills: Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and customer presentation skills. Ability to balance a long-term platform vision with hands-on execution, turning complex capabilities into shipped customer outcomes, while driving alignment and owning tradeoffs across teams.
• Bonus: Preferred experience with Design Partner Programs, Customer Advisory Boards, or similar Voice of Customer initiatives, and familiarity with key regulatory and governance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and DORA.
