This position is essential for maintaining accuracy and completeness across all accounting functions, including trust accounting, general ledger activities, and monthly close processes. What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist with trust accounting and support monthly closing processes.
• Prepare: Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Process: Process wire transfers and distributions under supervision.
• Review: Review general ledger activity for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze: Analyze historical financial statements and operating results of acquisition prospects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with strong accounting fundamentals.
• Experience: Up to three years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: Proactive problem-solving, strong relationship-building, and effective communication skills are highly valued, especially for supporting acquisition due diligence, financial modeling, and integration efforts. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting strategic planning at a corporate level, high-level knowledge of ERP systems, Power BI, SQL, or other reporting tools, a continuous improvement mindset, solution-oriented critical thinking, strong work ethic, self-motivation, organization, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
