This Staff Accountant role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial transaction processing and maintaining robust accounting records related to OEM manufacturing activities, contributing to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Manage daily accounting operations for OEM manufacturing activities, including accurate financial transaction processing and maintaining accounting records.
• Journal Entries & Close: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• AR/AP Support: Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, collections follow-up, and cash applications.
• Inventory Accounting: Assist in inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventory adjustments, standard cost updates, and reconcile inventory subledger to the general ledger.
• Project Tracking: Track costs, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition for customer-specific equipment builds and engineered-to-order projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 0–3 years of accounting experience. Required experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, or Infor Visual 9.
• Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, job costing, project accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost structures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups), with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bonus: Preferably manufacturing accounting experience; Infor Visual 9 ERP experience is highly desired.
