The Tone:
This is a full-time role at red violet, located in Boca Raton, FL. red violet builds proprietary technologies and applies analytical capabilities to deliver identity intelligence. Their CORE™ platform transforms data into intelligence for real-time identification and location, used for identity verification, risk mitigation, and fraud detection. This role is crucial for assisting in the day-to-day accounting operations, supporting end-of-month reconciliations, and preparing quarterly SEC reports to maintain accurate financial records and support compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconciliation: Analyze and reconcile various balance sheet accounts, including bank statements, fixed assets, payroll, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Journal Entries: Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly journal entries based on analysis.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and provide comprehensive documentation for quarterly reviews and annual audits related to 10-Q and 10-K filings.
• Accounts Payable & Vendor Management: Process, code, and record accounts payable, maintaining the vendor database, ensuring W9’s and 1099s are complete, and resolving related inquiries.
• Cash & Expense Management: Review bank activity and complete daily cash reconciliation, reconcile corporate credit cards and employee expense reimbursements, and process customer payments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with an understanding of GAAP and SEC Rules.
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of related experience, including permanent work authorization in the U.S. and experience using NetSuite or another enterprise-level ERP.
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong MS Excel skills.
• Bonus: Prefer CPA or CPA candidate, experience working in a publicly traded company accounting environment, SOX 404 experience, and public accounting experience.
