Staff Accountant | The Ned & Ned’s Club
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at The Ned & Ned’s Club, located in Washington, United States. The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants that opened its newest location in Washington D.C. in 2025. This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s financial goals by delivering high-level accounting support to guests, vendors, and other departments. The culture is supportive, and this role requires collaboration within the Finance team and across other departments.

• Mission: This person supports full-cycle accounting activities across income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash handling, and general ledger, adapting to the team’s greatest needs.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Income Audit & Revenue: Perform the daily income audit, reconciling all revenue streams and daily activity across various systems to ensure accuracy.
• Accounts Payable: Ensure invoices and payments are processed efficiently and according to company policy, maintaining vendor relationships and documentation.
• Accounts Receivable & Chargebacks: Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and resolution of member, guest, and corporate account discrepancies.
• Month End & General Ledger: Support the month-end closing process by completing timely reconciliations of assigned accounts and preparing intercompany billbacks.
• Team & Cross-Functional Support: Partner with department heads to champion accounting policies and procedures, providing flexible support to colleagues across the Finance team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a professional environment.
• Skills: Capable of managing a variety of tasks and prioritizing effectively, flexible and willing to be cross-trained across multiple accounting functions, team-focused with an understanding of overall business contribution.
• Bonus: Previous experience across accounting functions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, or income audit) within the hospitality industry.
