PANGEATWO, a local recruiting firm, is seeking this individual for a client company that requires support for financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, and month-end close activities. This position is crucial for maintaining accurate accounting records, analyzing capital-related transactions, and producing financial information vital for operational and financial decision-making. • Mission: This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, particularly related to fixed assets and capital expenditures, to support key operational and financial decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Compile: Compile and review financial information associated with fixed assets and capital expenditures.
• Generate: Generate and timely process journal entries related to depreciation, asset movements, and disposals.
• Complete: Complete account reconciliations as part of the monthly close cycle and investigate any variances.
• Produce: Produce reporting and analysis tied to capital spending activity and asset management.
• Partner: Partner with operational teams to evaluate and classify project costs and construction-related expenditures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• Experience: Previous experience in accounting, auditing, or a comparable financial environment is preferred.
• Skills: Strong Excel capabilities including working with large volumes of data, effective communication with professionals at multiple organizational levels, self-directed work habits with the capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines, and excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Experience using accounting systems or enterprise financial software.
