What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare and record monthly journal entries accurately to ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
• Financial Reporting: Generate timely and precise financial information required for the production of comprehensive financial statements.
• Internal Controls: Actively contribute to maintaining and assuring compliance with established internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Senior Accountant Support: Collaborate with and provide direct assistance to the Senior Accountant on various accounting tasks and initiatives as needed.
• Special Projects & Confidentiality: Undertake special projects and analyses to furnish management with critical data and insights vital for strategic decision-making while upholding the strict confidentiality of all accounting information.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is a fundamental requirement, providing the necessary academic foundation and theoretical knowledge in financial principles, reporting standards, and analytical techniques crucial for this Staff Accountant role.
• Experience: Candidates are expected to possess at least 2 to 3 years of direct, relevant experience in an accounting capacity. This practical experience is essential for handling day-to-day financial operations and contributing effectively to the team from the outset.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical, specifically the ability to utilize advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and V-Lookups for data analysis and reporting. Additionally, strong written and oral communication skills are imperative for clear reporting, collaboration with team members, and effective interaction with management.
