What You’ll Actually Do
• Daily Operations: Process the company’s day-to-day accounting tasks efficiently.
• Financial Management: Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow effectively.
• Expense Processing: Handle expense reporting and processing accurately.
• Period-End Activities: Prepare period-end journal entries and execute additional related accounting functions.
• Collaborative Reporting: Work alongside the Controller to ensure period financial reports are prepared timely and accurately, including shared duties for Simply Slims AR and AL.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent qualification; possesses general knowledge of accounting rules and principles. This is an early career position.
• Experience: 1+ years of professional accounting experience; fluency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; robust problem-solving and decision-making capabilities; ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and adapt to changing situations; aptitude for reading, analyzing, creating, and interpreting general business memos and documents.
• Bonus: Holds a valid Driver’s License, maintains a good driving record, and has access to a personal vehicle.
