This Staff Accountant position plays an integral role in the Company’s financial close process, with a primary focus on ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions in the general ledger. Your contributions will be essential to the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Account Reconciliation: Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare corresponding reconciliations.
• Data Analysis: Retrieve, process, and analyze financial data from various sources.
• Schedule Maintenance: Maintain supporting accounting schedules accurately and consistently.
• Compliance Adherence: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and applicable internal controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university, with a basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience: No prior experience required, making this an entry-level opportunity.
• Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Bonus: CPA preferred, and 0-2 years of public accounting or industry experience are a plus.
