The Tone:
This is an in-office role at Xendoo, Inc., located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The company handles bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting, and taxes, empowering entrepreneurs to focus on their core business. This role is essential for delivering accurate financial services and helping small business clients understand their numbers to make informed decisions for their growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Bookkeeping: Perform foundational bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Month-End Close: Execute month-end close procedures and conduct necessary reconciliations.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and accurately record journal entries.
• Financial Reporting: Interpret and analyze financial statements such as the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, and Trial Balance.
• Client Communication: Clearly explain financial information and reports to small business customers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution; Early Career.
• Experience: At least 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience; prior experience working with QBO, Xero, Sage, or similar accounting platforms.
• Skills: Foundational accounting knowledge (bookkeeping, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, A/P, A/R); ability to interpret financial statements; strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent in following established processes.
