• Mission: Support day-to-day accounting activities, monthly financial close, reconciliations, inventory accounting, and other financial reporting needs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile Accounts: Prepare bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of any reconciling items.
• Process Journal Entries: Create and review journal entries, including those for write-offs and inventory adjustments, while maintaining supporting documentation.
• Manage Inventory: Assist with inventory control processes, including warehouse and store cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Ensure Compliance: Support sales tax filings and other accounting compliance activities as required.
• Support Financial Operations: Maintain utility allocations between business entities and provide backup assistance for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s degree in Accounting is required, with a solid understanding of reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Previous accounting experience is required, including prior experience with an ERP system. Sage 100 experience is preferred.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
