What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Support: Support various analyses required for month-end close, specifically including those related to revenue recognition, sales commissions, and other accrued expenses.
• Cloud Invoicing: Prepare comprehensive analyses for cloud invoicing and generate the associated invoices.
• Commission Management: Calculate sales commissions accurately and diligently maintain records of sales commission credit awards.
• Contract & PO Review: Perform an initial review of sales contract setups to ensure accuracy and conduct initial reviews of Purchase Orders.
• Billing & AP Support: Respond to billing questions and requests from the Sales team and other internal departments, and research Accounts Payables requests originating from various departments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. This role is suited for early-career professionals seeking to contribute to core accounting activities.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have operational accounting experience.
• Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills; possess solid critical thinking abilities and a keen attention to detail; and be highly organized with the capacity to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively to meet established deadlines.
• Bonus: Direct experience with operational accounting functions is preferred.
