• Team: Reports to a Supervisor or Manager
• Mission: Complete tax, audit, and other assignments for clients under close supervision to support firm engagements.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office suite (Word & Excel), report writing tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engagements: Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by your Supervisor or Manager.
• Problem Solving: Identify and communicate potential problem areas during client engagements.
• Research: Conduct business-specific research, gathering and analyzing data, interpreting results, compiling reports, and making recommendations to principals and partners.
• Client Relations: Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and consistent follow-through.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance, providing a basic understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Experience: Up to 1 year of experience in public accounting or 1-3 years in an internal accounting role, or an appropriate balance of education and work experience.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team.
• Bonus: Ability to sit for the CPA exam or having passed sections of the CPA exam is a plus.
