What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile: Meticulously prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations of designated general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP and meeting year-end audit requirements.
• Process: Execute monthly closeout activities, including preparing and entering journal entries and reclassifying transactions utilizing modern technology.
• Support: Collaborate with accounting leadership on various assigned budget responsibilities to help make informed financial decisions.
• Assist: Contribute to the preparation of work papers for the annual audit, showcasing commitment to accuracy and precision.
• Improve: Review and analyze existing fiscal procedures, offering recommendations for enhancements or the implementation of new procedures to maintain internal controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of previous accounting experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS, Excel, and Word; strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to understand complex instructions and data processing applications.
