The Tone:
This is a full-time Staff Accountant role at Coesia, located in Crescent Springs, KY, as part of the Young Professionals Program. Coesia is a global group of industrial and packaging solutions companies headquartered in Italy, specializing in automation solutions across various industries like processing and packaging machinery, digital printing, and precision gears. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing Coesia North America’s financial activities, ensuring accurate accounting and tax records, timely monthly closings, and proper reconciliation. • Team: Reports to the Controller Manager and functionally to the R.A Jones Finance Manager.
• Mission: Manage and oversee Coesia North American financial activities, including accounting and tax records, monthly closings, statutory and tax filings, and account reconciliation.
• Tech Stack: SAP, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, Power Automate, Copilot, digital finance tools.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Close: Support timely monthly close processes, coordinating with North America legal entities and cross-functional teams.
• General Accounting: Perform general accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, reviewing, and maintaining records according to company policies and standards.
• Account Reconciliation: Assist with account reconciliation activities and help ensure compliance with established reconciliation processes and controls.
• Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and information to support both external and internal audit activities.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to process optimization, automation, and digital transformation within the Finance organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Experience: 0-2 years of accounting, finance, internship, or co-op experience; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; effective verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: Manufacturing experience; familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP; interest or exposure to data analytics, AI, automation, and tools like Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, Power Automate, or Copilot.
