The Tone:

This position is vital for accurately processing the company’s financial transactions and supporting comprehensive financial reporting, ensuring compliance with established accounting policies and regulations. • Mission: This role ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting policies and regulations by managing general accounting transactions and reporting requirements.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Record various types of journal entries, including accrual, reversal, reclass, and adjustment entries.
• Intercompany Transactions: Review, prepare, and record intercompany transactions with the parent company.
• Financial Close: Ensure an accurate and timely monthly financial closing process.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Financial Analysis: Compile and analyze financial information as directed by senior management.
• Audit Support: Assist the Senior Finance and Accounting Manager in preparing and completing the annual financial statement audit.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, typically accounting or finance.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience processing general accounting transactions and managing reporting requirements, including government and project accounting.
• Skills: Proficiency in general accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, balance sheet management, account reconciliations, and intercompany/affiliate accounting. Ability to support cash management and sales and use tax reporting.
