Staff Accountant | Enterprise Mobility

• Mission: Execute accounting procedures and principles to support financial statement preparation and analysis for a successful business.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting & General Ledger: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, manage financial records, and accurately assemble bank reconciliations, account schedules, journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations.
• Audit & Compliance: Perform branch audit evaluations, conduct audits to ensure compliance, and actively participate in the timely and accurate month-end closing process.
• Financial Analysis & Strategy: Analyze income statement fluctuations, provide process improvement and cost-saving ideas, and support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
• Operational Support: Collaborate effectively with other departments and assist personnel with questions regarding accounting policies and procedures.
• Tax & Expense Management: Potentially manage travel and entertainment reports, including coding and classification, and prepare sales and other tax returns as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. This role is specifically designed for early-career professionals seeking a comprehensive training and development program to advance towards financial leadership positions within the company.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is explicitly required beyond the educational qualification. A valid driver’s license is mandatory, with a driving record showing no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents, and no drug or alcohol-related convictions, all within the past 3 years.
• Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to effectively use advanced functions such as Vlookups and pivot tables for data analysis and reporting.
• Bonus: The ability and flexibility to relocate outside the local area or state within a 1-3 year period is essential to accept potential promotional opportunities and career advancement within Enterprise Mobility.
