What You’ll Actually Do
• Sourcing & Pipeline: Support the development and maintenance of a pipeline of potential transaction opportunities and assist in managing inbound opportunities from external parties.
• Market Intelligence: Track industry activity across public companies, private equity, and venture capital, and maintain internal databases of comparable transactions and market insights.
• Strategic Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to support strategic analyses, market sizing, and business case development.
• Financial Modeling: Analyze financial statements, business plans, and pro forma models to identify key drivers and assumptions, and prepare summaries for leadership discussions.
• Due Diligence & Execution: Coordinate due diligence across functional areas, assist in tracking progress and documentation, synthesize findings, and contribute to investment memoranda and executive presentations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity/venture capital, or transaction advisory/strategy.
• Skills: Strong foundation in financial modeling and valuation techniques, ability to synthesize market data into actionable insights, structured problem-solving capabilities, clear communication of findings, and high attention to detail.
• Bonus: MBA or advanced degree preferred; experience supporting M&A transactions or strategic initiatives; familiarity with financial tools; exposure to working with external advisors; healthcare or related industry experience.
