Job description:
Runway is seeking a Sr. Applied Research Scientist to lead efforts in building large language models and vision language models that power Runway’s research and tools, with a focus on multimodal capabilities and reasoning. This role involves:
• Leading projects focused on large language models and vision language models.
• Developing multimodal capabilities and reasoning within these models.
• Building impactful and novel machine learning projects.
• Writing clean and maintainable research code.
• Creating human-in-the-loop systems for creativity.
• Seeing research from conception to application in user interfaces.
• Mentoring and teaching other researchers.
• Communicating, collaborating, and documenting effectively.
