Senior Analyst, Quota and Capacity Planning | Salesforce

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Salesforce, located in Ontario, Canada. Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, enabling human agents to drive customer success. This position is vital for supporting regional Sales and Strategy teams by providing insights and optimizing processes during the company’s annual quota planning cycle and throughout organizational changes.

• Mission: Support regional Sales and Strategy teams through annual quota planning and ongoing organizational adjustments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Develop and own concurrent data reporting projects and models to drive insights for regional strategy teams.
• Advising: Advise regional teams on the impact of go-to-market decisions on sales teams’ quotas during the annual planning cycle.
• Optimization: Assist the Quota and Capacity Planning team in finding opportunities for increased optimization and effectiveness in existing processes and models.
• Relationships: Forge relationships with Sales Leaders, Strategy, and cross-functional teams.
• Support: Support regional Sales and Strategy teams through the company’s annual quota planning cycle and ongoing organizational changes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Statistics, Math, Finance, or Engineering.
• Experience: Four or more years of work experience, ideally in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, FP&A, or Finance, with a strong focus on business analysis and insights.
• Skills: Power-user proficiency in Excel, ability to tell a story using PowerPoint, excellent spoken and written communication, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience with sales coverage models, quota setting methodologies, or territory alignment; comfort in an environment where priorities change rapidly and require seamless pivots to new projects; strong communication skills for crafting high-impact communications with top-level executives; ability to succeed in a collaborative environment which may include extended time commitments during annual quota setting season; strong personal credibility and counseling skills; capable of working well under deadlines and juggling multiple priorities; knowledge of Claude and Snowflake with interest in developing further expertise.
