• Team: Works closely with experienced managers across the Rental organization, immersing in various departments.
• Mission: To equip individuals with in-depth business knowledge and leadership skills through hands-on departmental rotations, preparing them for career advancement within the company.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Immersion: Rotate through various departments, including Outside Sales, Production/Warehouse Management, Office Management, and Service Management, to gain in-depth knowledge of the business from a leadership perspective.
• Customer & Sales Development: Engage directly in outside sales activities to actively promote Cintas products and services, while simultaneously cultivating and strengthening customer relationships.
• Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service by efficiently addressing customer inquiries, promptly resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
• Data-Driven Decision Support: Analyze relevant sales data and contribute to making informed business decisions that enhance performance and operational strategy.
• Operational Project Collaboration: Collaborate with key leaders on diverse projects focused on improving sales management strategies and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level leadership development opportunity for individuals who currently possess or will obtain a Bachelor’s degree within six months. The program targets motivated candidates eager to develop their professional career within a structured business environment.
• Experience: While no specific prior professional experience is mandated, candidates must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide documentation regarding previous employment. The role requires fulfilling all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
• Skills: Candidates must possess an active driver’s license and be capable of obtaining a DOT medical certification prior to their first day of employment. Strong analytical skills for sales data, alongside effective customer service and relationship-building abilities, are essential for success in this role.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include previous co-op or internship experience in customer service, sales, production, or administrative roles. A business or related academic major, participation in campus leadership or extracurricular activities, and a willingness to relocate regionally during or after the program are also valued.
