Job Title: Springs Preserve Intern
Job Type: Temporary
Location: Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas
Salary: $16.00 – $20.00 hourly (based on education level)
Hours of Work:
• Up to 25 hours weekly.
• Work days are typically Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday.
• Standard hours are 9:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
• Possibility of occasionally working earlier than 9:00 a.m. or later than 4:00 p.m. to support special events/projects.

General Purpose of the Role:
Under direct supervision, the Springs Preserve Intern assists with a variety of duties in support of the conservation education programs of Springs Preserve. This involves participating in conducting various youth, adult, and family programming as assigned. A key aspect of the role is to engage guests of various ages in conservation education sessions, activities, and events throughout the Preserve venues, with the goal of fostering learning and appreciation for the natural world.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with guests visiting the Springs Preserve in a fun and engaging manner.
• Ability to engage program participants of all ages in learning and appreciating lessons of the natural world.
• Proficiency in interacting with both internal and external guests.
Eligibility/Minimum Requirements:
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in any field.
• Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate).
• A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Availability to work up to 25 hours weekly.
• Possession of a valid Nevada driver’s license.
• Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus.
