The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at The Bonadio Group, located in Dallas, Texas, for Spring and Summer 2027. The Bonadio Group is a public accounting firm that seeks to launch careers by providing interns with meaningful accounting work. This role is designed for students to gain firsthand exposure to the public accounting field, develop technical skills, and build professional confidence. Interns will contribute to real client engagements and collaborate with experienced professionals across the firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare individual, small business, and corporate tax returns, assisting with tax research and planning projects.
• Contribute to audit processes and year-end audit engagements alongside experienced Assurance professionals.
• Analyze financial information and supporting documentation for various client engagements.
• Collaborate with experienced professionals to deliver exceptional client service and support innovation initiatives.
• Engage in specialized projects including Form 990 preparation, Employee Benefit Plan engagements, and Technical Accounting Standards Updates.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Active enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s in accounting program.
• Experience: Coursework that supports progress toward the requirements for CPA eligibility.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, excellent organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
