UFC Internship Program: Sport Science

This internship program provides students with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and skills in a real-world corporate setting. Interns will be fully immersed in the daily operations of their department and will be directly involved with tasks and projects that contribute to UFC’s continued growth.

Program Details:

• Open to students currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
• In-person internship in Las Vegas, NV.
No relocation, housing, or transportation assistance provided.
• Spring 2025 program runs from January 13, 2025 to May 2, 2025.

Job Description: Sport Science Intern

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director, Sport Science with monitoring and assessment-related tasks.
• Assist in planning and preparing testing and evaluation activities.
• Implement monitoring and assessment interventions as needed.
• Handle, analyze, and manage data.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory environments and associated equipment.
• Collaborate with other technical areas to support Sport Science requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies and innovations within the sport science domain.

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an institution of higher education pursuing a degree relevant to the internship.
• Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
• Strong data management and analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver various physiological testing protocols and follow methodological procedures.
• Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks and achieve outcome goals.
• Strong desire to work with elite combat athletes.
• Experience working with athletes in weight-categorized sports is preferred.
