Job Description: Spectrum Internship – AP Analyst
This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship program (May 28, 2025 – August 1, 2025) designed for rising junior or senior students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.
The internship is highly learning-intensive, providing essential business insights and hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry. Spectrum is ranked among the Top 100 Internship Programs in the US.
Responsibilities: The internship will be split between department-focused projects (approximately 80%) and professional development activities (approximately 20%). The AP Analyst role will focus on various aspects of Accounts Payable and the Credit Card Program, including:
• Increasing credit limits on cardholders
• Learning Charter’s Travel & Expense System
• Processing credit card applications
• Analyzing payments to vendors
• Researching invoices from vendors
• Learning the vendor setup process
• Reviewing utility invoices
• Learning the unclaimed property process
• Working on special projects as needed
The 20% dedicated to professional development includes:

Qualifications:
• Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree; minimum 3.0 GPA; authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Ability to travel locally to internship events.
• Preferred: Strong attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks; analytical skills; collaboration skills; strong verbal and written communication; effective project and time management; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
