• Mission: Oversee reconciliation and maintenance of tax processes, ensuring timely and accurate tax reporting for a premier client experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Investigate across multiple systems to verify the accuracy of the Tax Database.
• Support Production: Assist with tax form production and the reclassification of dividends.
• Process Adjustments: Research and process tax adjustments for both Retail and Advisor Services clients.
• Determine Withholding: Identify and apply appropriate tax withholding rates to client accounts for foreign and domestic clients.
• Analyze Data: Examine large data sets to pinpoint the cause of issues and their impacts across systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred, with proven tax and cost basis knowledge.
• Experience: 2+ years in Operations or the financial services industry, plus 1+ year in the tax and/or cost basis industry.
• Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills for working with large data sets, knowledge of IRS regulations related to broker/dealer reporting, expertise in tax reporting topics like corporate actions and withholding, very strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
