Accounting Success Manager | Rillet

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Rillet, a company that builds an AI-native ERP system for accounting and finance teams, located in hybrid offices in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA. This role is critical as it owns the long-term relationship with customers after sales and implementation, partnering with financial leaders to deliver scalable, automated solutions on Rillet’s AI platform. • Mission: To partner with CFOs, Controllers, and Accounting Managers, owning long-term customer relationships to deliver scalable, automated accounting solutions on Rillet’s AI platform.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage relationships: Own customer relationships, run success plans, and hold recurring meetings to maximize the value customers attain from Rillet.
• Design solutions: Translate complex accounting challenges into automated workflows powered by Rillet’s AI platform.
• Enable customers: Lead trainings to ensure customers are continuously enabled on the platform and advise on process optimization and month-end close efficiency.
• Facilitate feedback: Provide front-line customer feedback to founders and Product in close to real-time, and triage support issues with Engineering.
• Apply expertise: Bridge the gap between technical product capabilities and customer accounting needs, ensuring solutions meet real-world requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An accountant who wants to be a builder, with a solid understanding of US GAAP and the end-to-end close process.
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience (public audit/assurance or industry GL/Close, Revenue, AP, or Consolidations), plus experience with ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct) and comfort picking up new finance tools.
• Skills: Proven ability to translate accounting requirements into system configurations and automated workflows, bias to action, ownership mindset, and high attention to detail.
• Bonus: CPA (active or inactive); prior client-facing/consulting or implementation experience.
