The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership developmental role at Nestlé Purina North America, initially located in Crete, Nebraska, but requiring willingness to relocate as the program progresses. What You’ll Actually Do
• Communication: Maintain consistent communication with the Plant Manager, Department Managers, and Team Leaders on all matters affecting factory employees.
• Program Implementation: Assist with the implementation of employee services, HR policies, various training programs, and other factory initiatives.
• Employee Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of employees’ leave, including return-to-work processes (FMLA, worker’s comp), paid time off, and benefits administration.
• Compliance Enforcement: Adhere to and enforce compliance with local, state, and federal legislation in relation to human resources policies.
• Employee Resource: Serve as a primary resource to all factory employees, providing exceptional customer service and guidance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a closely related discipline, which must be attained or expected by June 2027. This is structured as an early career, entry-level position designed for rapid development.
• Experience: A fundamental requirement is the willingness to relocate to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the Management Development Associate program. The initial rotation for this Human Resources MDA will commence at the Nestlé Purina factory in Crete, Nebraska.
• Skills: Ability to develop and maintain employee relations, support training programs, understand compensation and benefits, enforce compliance with HR policies, and provide excellent customer service.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience, and demonstrated involvement in student organizations or other leadership roles.
