This role is within the TikTok Monetization Ads Interface Team, which focuses on creating exceptional advertising experiences and intelligent growth marketing strategies for global advertising clients. You will contribute to leveraging technology to help global small and medium-sized business (SMB) advertisers effectively connect with customers, achieve business success, and drive the rapid growth of TikTok’s advertising business.

• Mission: Leverage technology to help global small and medium-sized business (SMB) advertisers effectively connect with customers, achieve business success, and drive the rapid growth of TikTok’s advertising business within challenging technical domains such as large-scale user systems and AI-driven personalized recommendations.
• Tech Stack: Large-scale user systems, diverse advertising fields (ad creation, material optimization, delivery strategy, attribution, measurement), AI-driven personalized recommendations and growth strategies, massive client profiling powered by LLM and big data.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Improve Ad Experience: Design, develop, test, and continuously improve TikTok’s Ads experience by engaging with challenging technical domains.
• Guide Team: Manage the work of a focused team of software engineers, providing guidance, regular feedback, education, and mentoring to foster their growth.
• Innovate Experiences: Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other disciplines to explore and define the next generation of ads experiences on TikTok, focusing on intelligent growth marketing strategies.
• Lead Project Delivery: Take responsibility for the team’s project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Shape Technical Direction: Define a long-term technical roadmap and contribute to critical technical decisions within your team, aligning with global R&D efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A graduate holding a BS/MS Degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Early career professional demonstrating a commitment to an onboarding date by the end of 2026, prepared to kickstart a career in an environment that pursues bold ideas.
• Skills: Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design. Proven problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the capacity to formulate solutions in a clear and concise way. Exceptional teamwork skills are required, encompassing communication, ownership, empathy, and honesty.
• Bonus: Experience with Advertisement Technology is a plus, but not a mandatory requirement for this role.
