What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Evaluate new AI technologies and methodologies relevant to automotive applications.
• Develop: Design, develop, and test AI algorithms and models for ADAS and Cockpit features.
• Implement: Optimize software components for in-vehicle embedded platforms and high-performance computing environments.
• Document: Record technical specifications, design choices, and test plans for projects.
• Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-year undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Possess a solid understanding of fundamental computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest and relevant coursework in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Computer Vision. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python (highly preferred) or C++.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, including articulating technical concepts clearly. Ability to work independently and take initiative in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Prior project experience (academic or personal) involving AI, robotics, or embedded systems. Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet). Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control with Git and Agile methodologies. Previous internship or co-op experience in a related field. Familiarity with at least one AI/ML framework.
