Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineering Intern, your responsibilities will include:

Software Development: Supporting software development projects by participating in coding, testing, and debugging activities.
Design & Implementation: Assisting in the design and implementation of software solutions using programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python.
Collaboration: Collaborating with team members to gather and analyze business requirements for software projects.
Application Development: Engaging in application development tasks.
Process Improvement: Contributing to the improvement of business processes through software solutions and automation.
Project Management: Participating in software project planning and management activities to meet project timelines and objectives.
UI/UX: Utilizing tools for user interface design and development.
Coding Standards: Learning and applying software development methodologies and coding standards to maintain code quality.
Troubleshooting: Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving software issues to enhance application performance.
Learning & Observation: Observing and learning from experienced team members to gain exposure to software engineering practices and methodologies.

What You Must Have (Qualifications)

Education: Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree.
Program Year: Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
Internship Timing:
• Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student’s final year of school.
• Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student’s final year of school.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is: $29.25 – $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
