Finance Process Lead – Centralized Testing Team (FIS) | Apple

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Apple, located in China (Shanghai), within the Finance Integrated Solutions (FIS) team. FIS drives technology solutions to support Apple’s global expansion and product growth, championing compliance and quality. This position is vital for ensuring the integrity and stability of Apple’s critical SAP Finance systems, which underpin the company’s global operations.

• Mission: Ensure the quality, accuracy, and stability of SAP Finance systems through robust manual and automated testing practices.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Test Execution: Execute manual test scenarios and schedule automated regression suites for SAP Finance modules, analyzing execution results to report pass/fail metrics.
• Worksoft Automation: Design, develop, and maintain Worksoft Certify automated test scripts for SAP Finance processes, building reusable process libraries for workflows like GR/IR, payment posting, and journal entries.
• Web Automation: Develop and maintain Selenium WebDriver automation scripts for SAP Fiori and web-based finance portals using Java or Python with TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
• Business Collaboration: Partner closely with diverse Apple business units, including Retail, Online Store, and Global Business Solutions, to deliver critical testing scenarios on time.
• Process Improvement: Innovate and share testing best practices to drive continuous improvement across the broader team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, with progressive expertise in SAP Finance business and systems testing.
• Experience: 8+ years in SAP Finance business and systems testing using management tools such as JIRA or ALM; 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, including extensive testing and automation of SAP FI modules and boundary system scenarios; 3+ years of test automation proficiency using Worksoft Certify and Selenium.
• Skills: Proficiency in SAP Finance modules (O2C, P2P, R2R, H2R), building Worksoft Certify projects, utilizing process libraries, working with Certify Workbench, and setting up Continuous Process Testing (CPT); strong ability to build trusted relationships with global business partners and collaborate seamlessly across all levels of leadership; bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written); solid business judgment rooted in fact-based, data-driven decision-making and analytical problem-solving.
• Bonus: SAP Certified Associate (SAP Activate Project Manager or S/4HANA Finance); ISTQB or CSTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Testing Certification; Certification in Worksoft Certify; track record of testing SAP S/4HANA Fiori applications; familiarity with basic ABAP debugging for test data analysis; experience conducting API testing using Postman or RestAssured; knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration, such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
