ServiceNow offers 12-week summer internship opportunities across various business functions. Interns will participate in a comprehensive program including:

Software Engineering Internship Opportunities
Unified Technology Group (UTG)
• Application Engineering (Full Stack)
• Develop across the full stack of Web technologies: JavaScript, Angular.js, React, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Build report interfaces and data feeds.
• Work in a Scrum-based Agile development process.
• Design and implement user-friendly software with customization capabilities.
• Machine Learning
• Design natural language processing components by enhancing deep learning algorithms.
• Participate in data collection and benchmark creation.
• Develop innovative patentable ideas.
• Advance the natural language capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
• Platform Engineering (Full Stack and Back End)
• Join the Cloud Platform Development group and contribute to solving real business problems.
• Write, debug, and test code using JavaScript and server-side Java.
• Implement web interfaces using frameworks like React, Angular, and CSS.
• Systems Engineering
• Join a team building highly scalable Cloud Infrastructure Automation.
• Solve technical challenges with experienced industry leaders.
• Develop in Python, JavaScript, or Go to build services and automation tools.
• Experience with Linux, networking, and/or container technologies is preferred.
• UI/UX Engineering (Front End)
• Build highly interactive web-based application UIs.
• Create tools, libraries, and frameworks for other developers.
• Full lifecycle responsibility for software development, including testing and automation.
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a full-time student, pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Graduating December 2025, or later.
• Ability to obtain and maintain work authorization.
• Commitment to a 12-week internship in Summer 2025 (May-August, or, June-September).
• Experience with languages such as Java, C++, Javascript, Python, or HTML/CSS.
• High levels of creativity and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, academic or personal projects, coding competitions, or publications is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
• Base pay of $53.13 – $55.58 per hour (for Bay Area positions).
• Equity (when applicable).
• Variable/incentive compensation.

• Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
