About the Role
This internship offers the chance to build software and deliver customer outcomes at Palantir, a company dedicated to building leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. Interns will engage in real, critical work alongside engineers and customers, helping to deploy AI-powered solutions, build future software platforms, and transform organizational operations, with a direct impact on critical industries and institutions.

What You’ll Do
• Build software and deliver customer outcomes.
• Help customers deploy AI-powered solutions.
• Build the software platforms of the future and transform how organizations operate.
• For Forward Deployed Software Engineer Interns: work side by side with customers, rapidly understanding their toughest issues; architecting and building solutions that leverage business-critical data and the latest advancements in AI to solve them.
• For Software Engineer Interns: contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, or Palantir Apollo.
• Use your technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to drive real-world impact.
• Own the end-to-end execution and implementation of high-stakes projects (FDSE Interns).
• Create features used by research scientists, aerospace engineers, intelligence analysts, and economic forecasters, in countries around the world (Software Engineer Interns).

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Pursuing or received a degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Hands-on experience applying AI (whether through coursework, personal projects, internships, or relevant extracurricular activities).

Bonus Qualifications
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• An active U.S. security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one (for all roles except USG).

Role Highlights & Compensation
• The salary range for this position is estimated to be $5,900 – $10,500/month.
• Total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
