What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, and real-time systems based on documented requirements.
• Innovate: Contribute to cutting-edge development programs and design new solutions, including innovating RF signal processing applications and developing analytics, visualization, and discovery tools.
• Integrate: Integrate new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors.
• Evaluate: Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements, document test results, and resolve software problem reports.
• Design: Provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required for this early career position.
• Experience: No demonstrated experience is required. Alternatively, four years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Skills: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance; Proficiency working in Linux development environments; Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• Bonus: Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming; Experience with geospatial processing; Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays; Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control tools; Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools.
