The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Lifecycle Management: Actively participate in all phases of product development, supporting and implementing innovative financial technology solutions.
• Agile Methodologies: Engage fully in relevant Agile rituals, including Planning Meetings, Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and Story tells, to build and maintain a strong knowledge of the functional domain.
• Feature Development: Responsibly develop new features and enhance existing functionalities for financial products, ensuring high qualitative standards are met.
• Client Engagement & Support: Directly interact with major financial institutions across Europe to provide comprehensive analysis and support for their software systems on both medium and large projects.
• Team Leadership & Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to junior colleagues, fostering their professional growth within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A seasoned professional with over 6 years of experience, possessing a strong foundation in C language development coupled with practical working knowledge of relational databases.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience of 6+ years in C language development and relational databases, specifically including working in and leading large, complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, self-motivation, excellent verbal and written English communication skills, and an enthusiastic, team-building attitude.
• Bonus: Advantageous experience includes using Git, Maven/Gradle, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Sub version, or equivalent code repositories, along with experience in deployments to AWS and Azure (both FIS development and client environments). A willingness to work in an Agile, collaborative environment and to travel as required is also expected.
