What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design, develop, and optimize core components of the AI/ML platform, including data pipelines, feature stores, model training frameworks, serving infrastructure, and monitoring systems.
• Build: Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to understand their needs and translate them into robust platform features and improvements.
• Implement: Implement and uphold best practices for software engineering, including rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing, clear documentation, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate: Contribute to the evaluation, selection, and integration of new technologies and tools to continuously enhance the capabilities, performance, and efficiency of the AI/ML platform.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on backend systems, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
• Skills: Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++; Solid understanding of distributed systems principles, microservices architectures, and experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); Demonstrated experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); Familiarity with various data storage technologies and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Bonus: Prior experience building or contributing to AI/ML infrastructure or MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker, TFX); A solid understanding of machine learning concepts and the model lifecycle; Experience with stream processing technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink); Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal technical projects; Experience with performance tuning and optimization of large-scale, high-throughput systems.
