Social Media Marketing Intern – Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team in Delhi, OH. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a dynamic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-evolving field of social media and digital marketing.
As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing team, contributing to the development and execution of engaging social media strategies for both our clients and AdActive itself. You will be instrumental in creating compelling content, monitoring digital trends, and analyzing performance to optimize campaigns and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms.
- Create engaging and high-quality content (text, image, video) tailored for different online platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for emerging trends, client mentions, and competitor activities.
- Analyze engagement metrics and campaign performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure digital marketing initiatives align with client and company goals.
- Help maintain consistent brand messaging and voice across all social media communications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing, including platform management and content scheduling.
- Strong capability in Social Media Content Creation, demonstrating creativity and an eye for engaging visuals.
- A solid understanding of core Digital Marketing strategies and basic Marketing principles.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for visual presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with various analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite Insights, Google Analytics) and current digital trends is a significant plus.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
